Dear Ohio House Candidate:

At this time, we are writing to follow up on our previous mailing of buttons and bumper stickers with a special offer to ship you a couple of dozen more buttons from the latest shipment of 1000 Obama/Biden buttons we just received. The many Democratic House candidates we have spoken with have reported that are personally wearing the Obama/Biden buttons 24/7 until election day, that is except when they are in the shower. They are doing this in order to show they are going all in between now and election day to elect Barack Obama and change our nation's priorities, from Washington DC to Columbus. Also, they are also buttons to reward volunteers and in some places (such as Students for Obama at Cleveland State University) are using them to reward students of any political persuasion who can demonstrate that they have voted early.

If you reply by midnight tonight to this email with a brief report on what is happening on the ground in your area with coordinating your campaign with the top of the ticket (a report which will be kept confidential), we will ship you another stock of buttons Priority Mail Wednesday morning, so that you should receive it Monday at the latest. That may be a little late for public distribution, but not too late for gifts Tuesday night to your own campaign volunteers. Even if they already have one, they might be able to give a button as a memento to a young person in their family or neighborhood, so they can remember one of the most historic campaigns in US history.
